Veracruz, Ver.- In an environment where logistics plays a fundamental role in Mexico's competitiveness, trade integration, and economic growth, Grupo CICE has been awarded the "Made in Mexico" distinction for six of the companies that comprise the group. Granted by the Secretariat of Economy,this recognition honors organizations that contribute to strengthening the country's supply chains. The distinction reinforces Grupo CICE's position as a strategic player within Mexico's logistics ecosystem and reflects its commitment to creating value from Mexico for both domestic and international markets.
Receiving this distinction is particularly significant for Grupo CICE, as it recognizes a trajectory of sustained growth and continuous evolution built upon comprehensive solutions in port operations, strategic warehousing, overland transportation, and specialized logistics infrastructure. The recognition also adds to the organization's recent achievements as it approaches its 35th anniversary, to be celebrated on August 1st.
The ceremony was attended by José Ignacio Aguado, Director General at the Secretariat of Economy; Alexandra Patrón, Director of Logistics and Supply Chain; and Roberto Martín Meillón Covarrubias and Miguel Ángel Andrade Gómez, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Mexican Association of Shipping Agents (AMANAC), respectively. During the event, they emphasized the importance of strengthening Mexico's logistics integration and competitiveness through collaboration among the various stakeholders that make up the country's supply chains.
By receiving the "Made in Mexico" distinction, Grupo CICE reaffirms its commitment to Mexico's economic development, the modernization of strategic infrastructure, and the strengthening of national supply chains.
