More Than Thirty Years of History

2023

Committed to the modernization and development of the Port of Veracruz, the first port of Mexico and an example of growth for our city and the country, we obtained a favorable ruling for the construction, operation, and administration of the Semi-Specialized Container and Cargo Terminal Project in the North Bay, for a period of 20 years.

2022
Committed to contributing to the development of foreign trade through the provision of port services, we have obtained a favorable ruling from the Integral Port Administration of Tampico for the operation and administration of the Multipurpose Terminal II in this Port.
2021
Building on our consolidated experience in specialized cargo handling, CICE Logistics Solutions strengthens with the opening of the first 3PL warehouses in the metropolitan area of the State of Mexico, for the integration of storage, distribution, and comprehensive supply chain management logistics services.
2015

The San Julián Logistics Park is inaugurated, located 3.5 km from the entrance to the Port Area, with efficient communication routes to and from the Port of Veracruz. It features first-rate infrastructure, including a container yard, logistics activity zone, goods storage, container repair facilities, as well as areas for the development of new projects.

2015
This same year, as a connection node to the national transportation network, the Operations Yard was inaugurated in Tultepec, State of Mexico. Consolidated today as a synergistic point for the transfer of goods, allowing us to meet the needs of our clients through the Gulf-Central-Pacific land corridor.
2011

The new business division CICE Logistics is created, tasked with designing tailor-made proposals to meet the needs of our clients. It offers operational solutions and intermodal transportation integration services for the comprehensive handling of all types of cargo and the development of special projects within and outside the port.

2010

With the aim of meeting the demand for foreign trade services in the Gulf of Mexico, a contract for port services was formalized with the Integral Port Administration (API) of the Port of Tampico, Tamaulipas, marking the beginning of operations for CICE Tampico a decade ago.

2009

Dedicated to land freight transportation, CICE Transportes begins operations, a company created to support the group's operations, equipped with a wide fleet of specialized transport units for containers, bulk cargo, project cargo, and all types of dry general cargo.

2008

Located on the Veracruz-Cardel federal highway is the San Julián Project, spanning 55 hectares for complementary activities to foreign trade. Additionally, an important environmental conservation effort is carried out from its development on 5.2 hectares of land designated for the creation of an Environmental Management Unit, allowing coexistence with the local environment.

2007

The Dome is inaugurated within the Multiuse Terminal, with 6,800 m² for handling and storing bulk goods, unique in its kind in the Gulf of Mexico. It currently features a semi-automated system of conveyor belts that allow for increased productivity in loading railway units.

2004

Concerned about addressing social issues in the region, the CICE Foundation A.C. is created, with the aim of providing assistance to the less privileged sectors of the community. Over the years, the bond with civil associations has been strengthened, primarily driving our efforts towards socioeconomic, health, and education aspects.

1998

At the same time as the TMU project was being developed, 24 hectares of land were acquired 3.5 kilometers from the Port of Veracruz, called CICE Dry Port, providing all basic services with efficient communication routes that allow users the best attention in the various services provided in its facilities, currently operating as a logistics platform.

1997

After this process of organizational maturation, CICE celebrates with the Integral Port Administration of Veracruz, S.A. de C.V. (APIVER) a partial rights assignment contract for an area of ​​11 hectares destined for the equipment and investment of the first multipurpose port facility that operates as a bonded warehouse, the Multiuse Terminal.

1993

The organization continues its development, undertaking the establishment of new goals, which allowed not only structural growth but also the comprehensive development of all group activities, paving the way for the formation of the Comprehensive Foreign Trade Consortium S.A. de C.V., the holding company of the group.

1992

From this effort, the first subsidiary emerges: Compañía de Equipamiento al Comercio Integral, S.A. de C.V., today CICE Interior Terminals, to meet market demands, providing container storage, handling, and services to imported and exported goods, strategically located near the port area.

1991

During a period of transition and modernization of ports by the Federal Government in the Port of Veracruz, a group of Mexican investors took on the challenge of transforming and modernizing port handling services in Veracruz, giving rise to the Corporación Integral de Comercio Exterior, S.A. de C.V., now known as CICE Ports, a pioneering stevedoring company in the national port system.
