Veracruz, Veracruz.- Early on Friday, December 29, 2023, the Hapag Lloyd Ship “Protostar N” docked at Pier 7-Sur in the South Bay of the Port of Veracruz, the first of three vessels that make up the Gulf Caribbean Service (GCS) service of this shipping line.

The GCS service connects the United States and Mexico with Central America and the Caribbean, calling at the ports of Houston in the United States, Veracruz and Altamira in Mexico, Puerto Barrios in Guatemala, Puerto Cortés in Honduras and Caucedo in the Dominican Republic; for the transportation of this maritime route that will ship mostly containerized export goods in Veracruz.

 

The service will be attended weekly in the Port of Veracruz by Grupo CICE, strengthening its commercial relationships with one of the most important shipping lines internationally, such as Hapag Lloyd.
