Veracruz, Veracruz. This Saturday, October 16, the shipping line ZIM Integrated Shipping Services Ltd., inaugurated the container service Mexico Central America Express, MXC for its acronym in English, which connects Central America and the Caribbean.
The Contship PEP ship docked this Saturday from the port of Kingston, Jamaica, making the first stop on this new maritime route for the transport of containerized goods that will favor imports through the Gulf of Mexico; Its route continues this week to Altamira, Santo Tomás, Puerto Cortéz, Kingston and Río Haina.
The service will be served on a biweekly basis in the Port of Veracruz by Grupo CICE, this being the second regular frequency service along with the Central America-Caribbean CCS inaugurated in 2019.
