Grupo CICE fortalece su compromiso con la sostenibilidad a través de su Informe GRI 2025

Veracruz, Ver.- Grupo CICE presenta su Informe de Sostenibilidad 2025, elaborado bajo la metodología de Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), como parte de su compromiso con la transparencia, la responsabilidad empresarial y la generación de valor sostenible.

 

A través de este informe, Grupo CICE da cuenta de los principales resultados y avances alcanzados durante el periodo, integrando aspectos económicos, ambientales, sociales y de gobernanza que forman parte de su gestión y de la evolución de sus operaciones.

 

La elaboración y publicación anual de este documento representa un ejercicio de transparencia que permite identificar avances, retos y oportunidades de mejora, fortaleciendo una visión de sostenibilidad integrada a la estrategia corporativa y a la toma de decisiones.

 

Durante el periodo reportado, Grupo CICE continuó impulsando acciones orientadas a fortalecer el desempeño de sus operaciones, promover el bienestar de sus colaboradores, contribuir al desarrollo de las comunidades donde mantiene presencia y avanzar en una gestión responsable de los recursos y del entorno.

 

Este compromiso forma parte de una visión de largo plazo que reconoce que la sostenibilidad trasciende el ámbito ambiental y comprende también la generación de valor económico, el desarrollo social, la ética empresarial y una gestión responsable.

 

En este sentido, el Informe GRI 2025 se suma a la trayectoria que Grupo CICE ha construido en materia de responsabilidad social y sostenibilidad, respaldada también por la obtención, por decimotercer año consecutivo, del Distintivo Empresa Socialmente Responsable otorgado por el Centro Mexicano para la Filantropía (CEMEFI).

 

Con la publicación de este informe, Grupo CICE refrenda su compromiso de mantener una gestión transparente, responsable y orientada a la mejora continua, consolidando una visión empresarial que busca generar valor para sus grupos de interés y contribuir al desarrollo sostenible de México.

Grupo CICE strengthens maritime service operations with the commissioning of its Dual Trolley Ship-to-Shore Cranes

Veracruz, Ver.- Grupo CICE strengthens its capabilities for handling shipping services with the commissioning of two Liebherr P180 L-S Dual Trolley Ship-to-Shore Cranes at its Semi-Specialized Container and Project Cargo Terminal located in the North Bay of the Port of Veracruz, marking a new stage in the operational development of the facility.

 

The commissioning of both equipments was completed through the handling of two shipping services at the Terminal: CMA CGM’s ALTAMIRA EXPRESS, with the arrival of the ELBBRIDGE, and ZIM Integrated Shipping Services’ ZIM GULF TOUCAN service, which was handled with the SPYROS V. With these operations, both cranes are now formally integrated into North Bay’s operational scheme, strengthening CICE’s capabilities to meet the requirements of its customers and shipping lines.

With a safe working load of up to 65 metric tons, the Liebherr P180 L-S Dual Trolley Ship-to-Shore Cranes can handle up to 80 metric tons in Twin Lift mode and between 80 and 100 metric tons in Tandem mode, with an outreach of up to 20 container rows. In addition, the cranes feature Remote Operation Station (ROS) systems and Active Front End technology for energy recovery, capabilities that contribute to optimizing cargo handling operations and enhancing the Terminal’s overall operational performance.


The commissioning of both cranes represents a significant step in strengthening CICE’s operational capabilities by incorporating additional capacity for port handling operations and enabling the efficient management of the evolving dynamics of maritime services at the Port of Veracruz.


With the commissioning of its new Dual Trolley Ship-to-Shore Cranes, CICE continues to strengthen its capabilities to address the current and future demands of international trade, contributing to more efficient logistics chains and reinforcing North Bay’s as a Terminal equipped to respond to the evolving requirements of maritime and commercial connectivity.
