Veracruz, Ver.- At Grupo CICE, relationships with clients and strategic partners are fundamental to generating new opportunities and consolidating long-term partnerships. In this regard, the relationship with Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) continues to strengthen through different areas of collaboration that provide opportunities to share experiences of mutual interest and join efforts on initiatives with a broader impact.
As part of this relationship, representatives of MSC, during their recent strategic visits to the Port of Veracruz, have complemented their experience by contributing to the environmental conservation of the area through beach clean-up activities coordinated with Grupo CICE. These activities took place ahead of scheduled tours of the Semi-Specialized Container and Project Cargo Terminal at the North Bay of the Port of Veracruz, where MSC representatives had the opportunity to gain first-hand knowledge of the terminal’s infrastructure, processes, operational capabilities, and protocols, with the aim of continuing to identify opportunities for joint project development.
In this way, the collaboration has extended beyond the scope of their commercial partnership, with beach clean-up activities held at Isla del Amor Beach in July and, more recently, at Regatas Beach in August. These activities brought together MSC representatives, as well as Grupo CICE employees, volunteers, and members of its Environmental Committee, allowing both organizations to join efforts in support of environmental conservation.
Participation in these initiatives demonstrates how a strong relationship can generate positive impacts across different areas, enabling organizations to share not only objectives related to their respective activities, but also initiatives that contribute positively to the communities and environments where they operate.
