Veracruz, Ver.- Grupo CICE strengthens its capabilities for handling port operations with the launch of the ALTAMIRA EXPRESS service, operated by CMA CGM, with its first vessel calling at Grupo CICE’s Semi-Specialized Terminal for Containers and Project Cargo.

CMA CGM’s container vessel ELBBRIDGE made its first call at the Terminal on August 17, as part of this service, carrying out container import and export handling operations. Operating on a biweekly basis, the service has an estimated capacity of 600 containers per call and connects the ports of Progreso, Veracruz and Altamira, with international connections to Kingston, Caucedo and San Juan.

Veracruz, Ver.- As part of its commitment to the development of international trade and the execution of specialized logistics projects, Grupo CICE is participating in the export operation of 782 railcars destined for Saudi Arabia, one of the most significant projects of the year for its Multi-Purpose Terminal located in the South Bay of the Port of Veracruz.

The project, developed for Kuehne + Nagel Forwarding with railcars manufactured by The Greenbrier Companies, Inc., involves the export of tank railcars designed for phosphoric acid transportation and Husky intermodal flatcars for 40-foot containers, representing an estimated total cargo volume of 20,658 metric tons.

The railcars are transported by rail from manufacturing facilities located in Tlaxcala and Ciudad Sahagún to the Port of Veracruz, where Grupo CICE provides a comprehensive range of port handling services. These include the receipt and unloading of the rail equipment, temporary storage within the terminal yards, transfer alongside the vessel, and subsequent loading for ocean transport to Saudi Arabia.

The first shipment consisted of 38 tank railcars, while subsequent sailings are expected to include 30 to 40 railcars per vessel, with an estimated frequency of one operation per week.

Cuautitlán Izcalli, Edomex.- As part of its commitment to sustainable development and creating value in the communities where it operates, Grupo CICE participated in a reforestation initiative held at Laguna de Axotlán in Cuautitlán Izcalli, State of Mexico.

The activity, promoted by the Citizen Participation Council (COPACI), brought together various companies and community members with the aim of contributing to the preservation of this important natural area through the planting of trees that support the restoration of local ecosystems.

Veracruz, Ver.- With the arrival of the MSC KEY F on July 4, Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) officially launched its new PAMEX regular service at Grupo CICE's Semi-Specialized for Container and Cargo Project Terminal, located in the North Bay of the Port of Veracruz.

The PAMEX service will strengthen the Port of Veracruz's maritime connectivity through a weekly container shipping service serving both import and export markets. Initially deployed with the MSC KEY F and MSC NORDEROOG, the service will provide four weekly port calls, strategically connecting Veracruz, Altamira, and Cristóbal, while expanding logistics options for international trade.

Veracruz, Ver.- As part of its commitment to the development of the communities where it operates, Grupo CICE held the 2026 Graduation Ceremony for ANSPAC Veracruz – Grupo CICE Headquarters, recognizing the commitment, dedication, and perseverance of 37 women who successfully completed their educational program.

The ceremony was attended by distinguished guests from the National Association for Personal Development of Individuals (ANSPAC) and representatives of Grupo CICE, who joined in celebrating this important milestone, reflecting the outcome of a learning process focused on the participants' human, moral, and social development.

Granted by the Secretariat of Economy,this recognition honors organizations that contribute to strengthening the country's supply chains. The distinction reinforces Grupo CICE's position as a strategic player within Mexico's logistics ecosystem and reflects its commitment to creating value from Mexico for both domestic and international markets.

Receiving this distinction is particularly significant for Grupo CICE, as it recognizes a trajectory of sustained growth and continuous evolution built upon comprehensive solutions in port operations, strategic warehousing, overland transportation, and specialized logistics infrastructure. The recognition also adds to the organization's recent achievements as it approaches its 35th anniversary, to be celebrated on August 1st.

Veracruz, Ver.- Como parte de las acciones permanentes orientadas al fortalecimiento de una operación responsable y sostenible, Grupo CICE recibió por parte de la Procuraduría Federal de Protección al Ambiente (PROFEPA) el Certificado en Calidad Ambiental para sus instalaciones en la Bahía Sur del Puerto de Veracruz, reconocimiento que refrenda el compromiso permanente de la organización con la implementación de acciones enfocadas en el cuidado y preservación del medio ambiente dentro de sus operaciones e instalaciones.

Desde el año 2011, Grupo CICE ha mantenido este certificado de manera ininterrumpida, consolidando una cultura organizacional enfocada en el desarrollo de operaciones responsables, eficientes y alineadas con las mejores prácticas ambientales. A través de programas, controles y procesos internos, la organización impulsa diariamente acciones encaminadas a la prevención, mitigación y mejora continua de su desempeño ambiental.

El Certificado en Calidad Ambiental es otorgado por PROFEPA a las empresas que cumplen satisfactoriamente con los lineamientos establecidos dentro del Programa Nacional de Auditoría Ambiental, evaluando aspectos relacionados con el cumplimiento de la normatividad ambiental, la gestión de riesgos, el manejo adecuado de recursos y la implementación de estrategias de mejora en materia ambiental.
