ZIM Shipping begins the Mexico Central America Express (MXC) service

Veracruz, Veracruz. This Saturday, October 16, the shipping line ZIM Integrated Shipping Services Ltd., inaugurated the container service Mexico Central America Express, MXC for its acronym in English, which connects Central America and the Caribbean.

The Contship PEP ship docked this Saturday from the port of Kingston, Jamaica, making the first stop on this new maritime route for the transport of containerized goods that will favor imports through the Gulf of Mexico; Its route continues this week to Altamira, Santo Tomás, Puerto Cortéz, Kingston and Río Haina.

The service will be served on a biweekly basis in the Port of Veracruz by Grupo CICE, this being the second regular frequency service along with the Central America-Caribbean CCS inaugurated in 2019.

CICE Foundation carries out 14th delivery of CICE Commitment Scholarships

Veracruz, Ver.- As part of the actions we undertake to promote the educational development of the community, the delivery of CICE Commitment Scholarships was carried out for the 14th generation of scholarship recipients of this program in the cities of Veracruz and Tampico.

Contributing to better educational conditions: CICE Foundation donates repair of electrical installation to Juan Malpica Silva Elementary School

Veracruz, Ver.- Strengthening our commitment to the development of actions that allow better educational quality for the children and young people of our town, this Monday, June 20, the formalization of the delivery of a donation to the Juan Malpica primary school took place. Silva, located in the metropolitan area of Veracruz.

This donation consisted of the repair of the school's three-phase underground electrical installation, which was affected for about a month, causing the suspension of the activities of this institution due to the lack of energy and water supply.

 

 

For this rehabilitation, the construction of a concrete wall was carried out, the circuit breakers, contractile terminals and general wiring were replaced, splices were made and supports for medium voltage conduction were installed, thereby replenishing the electricity and water service. , which allowed the return to the classrooms.
