Grupo CICE obtiene Certificación PRIME de Gobierno Corporativo

Ciudad de México.- Comprometidos con la implementación de buenas prácticas en nuestros procesos organizacionales, Grupo CICE recibió el Certificado PRIME Nivel IV, que se otorga a las empresas mexicanas para institucionalizarse en materia de gobierno corporativo.

En una ceremonia celebrada el 24 de septiembre en las instalaciones del Auditorio Alfredo Philips Olmedo Bancomext, se recibió el documento certificado de este distintivo con la presencia de los directivos de Grupo CICE y del despacho EY México, así como de los representantes del Comité PRIME.

Este programa conlleva múltiples beneficios para las empresas, como el fortalecimiento de su estructura financiera, la mejora de su competitividad y permanencia, facilitando el acceso a mejores condiciones de financiamiento de la Banca de Desarrollo. Lo anterior, regulando el cumplimiento de requisitos obligatorios y recomendaciones sobre prácticas y principios de buen gobierno corporativo que permiten la permanencia del certificado.

La Certificación es evaluada y otorgada por un órgano colegiado (Comité Certificador PRIME) integrado por la Asociación Mexicana de Instituciones Bursátiles (AMIB), el Banco Nacional de Comercio Exterior (BANCOMEXT), la Bolsa Institucional de Valores (BIVA), la Bolsa Mexicana de Valores (BMV) y Nacional Financiera (NAFIN).

Este logro reviste un carácter histórico al convertir a Grupo CICE en la primera empresa de origen veracruzano en obtener el Certificado PRIME, consolidando su liderazgo y su compromiso con la institucionalización y la excelencia en materia de gobierno corporativo. A nivel nacional, únicamente 54 empresas cuentan con esta certificación, lo que posiciona a Grupo CICE entre las organizaciones que cumplen con los más altos estándares en la materia.

Grupo CICE inaugura tercer almacén 3PL en Monterrey

Monterrey, N.L..- CICE, integrador de servicios logísticos, informó el jueves que ha inaugurado su tercer almacén bajo el esquema de 3PL (Third Party Logistics) en Monterrey, Nuevo León, bajo una inversión proyectada de 20 millones de pesos.

Esta apertura va de la mano con el plan de expansión de la compañía, que ya cuenta con dos almacenes operativos en el Estado de México.

La nueva instalación comenzó sus operaciones este 1 de agosto de 2024, en el marco del trigésimo tercer aniversario del grupo, extendiendo la presencia de CICE en el norte del país.

Ubicado en el Parque Industrial Stiva Aeropuerto, en la calle Miguel Alemán km 23.7, Ciudad Apodaca, Nuevo León, cuenta con 7,730 metros cuadrados de superficie y se beneficia de una localización privilegiada, ya que se encuentra a menos de dos km del Aeropuerto Internacional de Monterrey y con acceso directo a autopistas.

Así mismo, “ofrece una conectividad logística óptima para atender industrias clave como la automotriz, electrónica, iluminación industrial, electrodomésticos, equipos de refrigeración, aceros y derivados”, de acuerdo con un comunicado de prensa de Grupo CICE.

Esta ubicación y sus propias características permiten una reducción de costos de inventario, mejora de la eficiencia operativa, optimización de la cadena de suministro y mayor precisión en la previsión de la demanda. Además, proporciona flexibilidad en la gestión de inventario y posibilita el diferimiento de impuestos, beneficios esenciales para las operaciones de almacenaje nacional e IMMEX, servicios de valor agregado y distribución de última milla.

La puesta en marcha del almacén mejora la capacidad de la empresa para manejar volúmenes de mercancía que llegan a Veracruz y que posteriormente se manufacturan en el norte del país para su exportación a Estados Unidos.

Así mismo, la cercanía con la frontera terrestre más transitada de México, en Nuevo Laredo//Laredo, y la infraestructura aduanera y de transporte terrestre en la región, aseguran un flujo continuo y eficiente en la cadena de suministro de sus clientes.

“En cuanto a la tecnología, el almacén está equipado con sistemas avanzados de gestión de inventarios y citas, utilizando EBS y WMS de Oracle, implementados en las otras instalaciones del grupo, lo que garantiza un control preciso y eficiente de todas las operaciones, ofreciendo una red robusta y eficiente de almacenes y servicios logísticos a lo largo del país”, afirmó.

Mirando hacia el futuro, la empresa planea continuar su expansión con nuevas instalaciones en Guadalajara para 2025, subrayando su compromiso de ampliar su carpeta de soluciones logísticas en México, ofreciendo servicios integrales y eficientes a una amplia gama de sectores industriales.

World Direct Shipping integrates container service in CICE Tampico

Tampico, Tamps.– With the docking of the ship “Queen B” of World Direct Shipping last Wednesday, June 5, the regular container service of this shipping line began at the CICE Tampico Multiple Use Terminal with a very efficient route between Tampico and Port Manatee, the closest to the Gulf ports. from Mexico.

CICE gives the green light to the construction of a new Terminal in the North Bay of the Port of Veracruz

In a significant event for the port and logistics community, CICE officially announced the start of the Semi-specialized Terminal for the handling of Containers and Cargo Project in the North Bay of the Port of Veracruz. This project, which represents an investment of approximately 4 billion pesos, is intended to strengthen the operational capacity of the company, expanding its presence in the port of Veracruz and increasing its operating capacity, four times its current volume of operations. The new Terminal, which will cover 22 hectares, will have:

  • A 550 linear meter dock with a 14 meter draft
  • A container yard with capacity for 13,800 TEUs
  • A 6,200 sqm CFS warehouse
  • A Multimodal Yard with 1,970 meters of railway spur
  • Advanced video surveillance systems
  • Administrative and operational buildings, access booths, perimeter fence and a wastewater treatment plant

The development of of this Terminal will generate around 150 permanent direct jobs and more than 700 indirect jobs during its operation, promoting opportunities for the port community and future generations of professionals in Veracruz. MSC reinstates the “Canada Gulf Bridge” service to its operations with Grupo CICE in Veracruz

Veracruz, Ver.- Con el atraque del buque de “MSC Baltic III” este sábado 24 de febrero en el Puerto de Veracruz, iniciaron las operaciones del servicio semanal de contenedores “Canada Gulf Bridge” de MSC – Mediterranean Shipping Company que conecta el Golfo de México con la Costa Este de Estados Unidos y Canadá.

Esta es la primera de 8 embarcaciones que integrarán el servicio, el cual incentiva la exportación con escalas semanales y los mejores tiempos de tránsito, ya que a su vez conecta con otros servicios marítimos de MSC con destino hacia algunos tráficos importantes como el Este de Asia, el Golfo Pérsico, África y el Mar Rojo.

Grupo CICE retoma las operaciones de este servicio en la Bahía Sur del Puerto de Veracruz como ya lo hizo de 2018 a 2019, en el cual se embarcarán principalmente mercancías contenerizadas de exportación.

ZIM Shipping launches the "ZIM Gulf Toucan" service operated by CICE Veracruz

Veracruz, Ver.- After the announcement of ZIM Integrated Shipping Services Ltd. about the launch of its new service “ZIM Gulf Toucan” (ZGT) serving Latin American markets, on Wednesday February 14th the vessel 'Bright' docked at the Port of Veracruz. CICE Transportation launches new brand image on its new Freightliner Cascadia 2024 units

Veracruz. Ver.- With a renewed change of image to the distinctive orange color that has identified us since our beginnings, six new 2024 model Freightliner Cascadia DD13 units are being integrated into the CICE Transportes fleet., an incentive to consolidate ourselves as a strategic ally in the supply chains of our clients and freight transport users across the national territory.

Hapag Lloyd's “Gulf Caribbean Service” begins operations in CICE Veracruz

Veracruz, Veracruz.- Early on Friday, December 29, 2023, the Hapag Lloyd Ship “Protostar N” docked at Pier 7-Sur in the South Bay of the Port of Veracruz, the first of three vessels that make up the Gulf Caribbean Service (GCS) service of this shipping line.
